You know, truth is never easy. Lies are always more convenient. For me personally, going back to doing ordinary things like any other day while not being concerned or worried over these horrifying, nauseating discoveries…. it’s painfully difficult. There’s this anxiety building up inside you, and however strange it may seem, it’s actually coming from a good place. Yet it’s clearly evident that this doesn’t apply to everyone out there. It’s easier to go back the way things were. To ignore what’s happened. To suppress your thoughts. Ultimetely, it’s the silence that’s dangerous. Do criminal acts really outweigh our silenced tongues? Or do they share the same ugliness?

He who passively accepts evil is as much involved in it as he who helps to perpetrate it.
He who accepts evil without protesting against it is really cooperating with it.

History will have to record that the greatest tragedy of this period of social transition was not the strident clamor of the bad people, but the appalling silence of the good people.
